In February 2026, Valeria and José traveled from the United States to celebrate their wedding in Costa Rica, joined by family and friends who traveled from different parts of the world to be part of their special day.
Their wedding took place at the beautiful Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belén, one of the most sought-after venues for a destination wedding in Costa Rica. With its colonial architecture, tropical gardens, and versatile event spaces, the property offers the perfect setting for couples looking for an elegant yet relaxed celebration.
Although February falls within Costa Rica’s dry season, a brief afternoon shower surprised us. Fortunately, Hacienda Belén Marriott is one of those venues where a little rain changes nothing. The covered walkways, lush gardens, and beautiful architecture allowed us to create stunning outdoor portraits throughout the day, proving that the best wedding photographs often come from embracing the unexpected.
The celebration was beautifully planned by Mandy and her team at One Heart Weddings and concluded with an unforgettable reception in the JVC Ballroom, where guests danced and celebrated late into the evening.
